Speed up your testing/development time with this multi-protocol OBD-2/EOBD simulator. Using Plug-In-Modules (PIMs) this versatile tool can be customized to your specification. The simulator base will accept up to three PIMs in any combination including: CAN, VPW, PWM, KWP, or ISO. Each PIM can be selected individually, or all PIMs can be enabled simultaneously1. Status indicators on the front panel display which PIM is currently active (green), which PIMs is inactive (red) and which PIM(s) are not currently installed (not illuminated). Each protocol supports 5 user-adjustable and 11 fixed PIDs. The CAN protocol supports additional fixed PIDs and allows packet monitoring via a USB or Bluetooth connection to a PC. A MIL button is also provided to set the MIL, generate stored/pending trouble codes and generate freeze frame data. Physical connection to the scan tool is made through a standard SAE J1962 female connector. This item ships with a 12V switching power supply and a U.S. style/UL listed power cable.

Note 1: Incompatible protocol pairs PWM and VPW, ISO and KWP cannot be active simultaneously because they share the same communication lines.
